As part of an author's residency in Nancy, the German writer and journalist Daniel Schreiber has written about what friendship means in the lives of queer people. His text also presents a short history of queer life in Germany since the 19th century and describes what life is like for a queer man in today's society.

An interview with the sociologist Antoine Idier, editor of the book "Archives des mouvements LGBT+ : une histoire des luttes de 1890 à nos jours", will highlight the differences and similarities in the lives of LGBT and queer people in Germany and France and take stock of discrimination and emancipation movements in both countries.

This video conference will be hosted by Pascal Thibaut, Germany correspondent for Radio France Internationale and president of the Franco-German queer association Bleublancrose.
